#1 IV Therapy Medical Clinic in Oakville

Microneedling

Microneedling is a non-invasive treatment that is clinically proven to improve the appearance of wrinkles without the discomfort or the downtime of invasive procedures.

HOW DOES MICRONEEDLING WORK?

The microneedling treatment creates microchannels that stimulate your body’s natural wound healing process, while minimizing cellular damage using a micropen. A micropen is used in the treatment to rejuvenate your skin from the inside out. The result is effective remodeling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact and reducing wrinkles.

What types of results to expect from microneedling?

Patients can expect the following:

  • Little to no downtime

  • Effective for all skin types from light to dark

  • A comfortable experience at our Oakville clinic any time of the year

  • Short procedure time at the pur Glow Medical Spa

MICRONEEDLING at pur Glow Medical Spa

Microneedling treatments can be used for wrinkles, acne scars, traumatic scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone and hyper-pigmentation.   Microneedling is less abrasive than harsh peels and has been clinically proven to be effective for men and women ranging from skin-types light to very dark.  Microneedling treatments at our clinic revolve around a wound-repairing process.  Piercing of the skin will trigger your immune system to cleanse the wound, remove unwanted debris, and increase your overall blood flow to begin creating new tissue.   When skin treatments are properly overseen by our staff and properly spaced, the procedures can be administered year round.
